An elegant library table with two drawers in cherry wood. The cherry comes from trees removed during the Oaklind Hills Country Club renovations in 2023.

This is a maple and black epoxy oval table, about 1" thick. It currently stands on 16" wire-frame legs, but other styles and heights could be substituted. This wood came from a maple tree removed from a Grosse Pointe Park neigborhood during yard renovations.

It is currently configured as a coffee table with 16" A-frame metal legs, but other styles and heights could be substituted. This slab came from the same Grosse Pointe Park neigborhood maple tree as the Oval table above.

This carving board features stripes of oak, cherry and maple with decorative balck walnut inlays. The juice channel around the edge makes it perfect for preparing fruits or meats while minimizing the mess. A smaller board at about 16"x9"x5/8".

These were a set of coasters and holder I built from a client's left-over wood and gave them to the client as a bonus. All made from black walnut and maple, they turned out beautifully.

Finished with boiled linseed oil for extra weather protection and a richer appearance this piece will darken to a deep golden brown over time. My wife loves it. A custom fireplace mantel for a client - my first commision! Made from a solid block of black walnut with the edges only slightly eased, the final dimensions were about 52" wide, 5" deep and nearly 4" thick. Shown with a custom set of coasters and the holder made from the remains of the walnut slab and some maple.

One winter I got it in my head that I wanted a pool table, so I bought a bunch of poplar, mahogany and plywood, found some slate slabs a guy was willing to sell cheap and went ahead and built one. It came out pretty good (if I do say so myself) but it turns out that leather pockets and quality speed cloth are not so cheap (not to mention pool balls and cues)! I'm ready to be rid of it, if only to reclaim the space in our house, so this is selling for little more than the cost of materials.

Another commissioned piece, this is a cabinet made to fit the client's narrow space in a bathroom. It features an open area, an inset door hiding two adjustable shelves and a prominent oak cap. Painted all black to match their existing decor.
